So finally,this is the story…
The wedding day…long time comin’…finally happened on 13th December…

Truth he said…prophetical truth for us…
As you all know, wedding plans and weddings are stressful.For me there was not too much stress.
I knew what I wanted, and that’s was the only thing on my mind…
To get married and start new life with my one and only.
Nothing could come in my way anymore.
So that day started, guests started coming. Normal situation, I guess.
My best man got drunk at 9 in the morning, and that kind of made me freak out.
But ok…
So we headed for the place where we oughta get married, legally, before the church wedding.
The place where we booked the wedding date.
And we got to the door.
The guy comes out, with a gun.
Don’t worry.No shots were passed.Guard.
Smiling kind of, nervously.
Guard:«Well, this is not the place»
We:«What, big freaking what?!»
G.:«No, no, the other couple came by last week , this is not where weddings take place»
My love(smiles):»Oh you’re joking with us…»
G: «No, no. Come in and look for yourselves, there’s no one in»(smiles more and more uncomfortable)
Milica storms in.
G:»Try the town hall»
The wedding is booked at 16:00.
It’s 15:45 now.
Rushing into the car.
Got to the town hall.
Kinda irritating( oh, well, everyone was irritating at the time) guard#2 smiles, almost laughs:»No, no, it’s not here».(watches a game, and doesn’t give a damn, really)
W:»So, what are we to do»
G2:»Dunno».
I’m smiling nervously, Milica not smiling. At all. Furious as hell.
Lady from the mayor’s office comes down, and asks what’s happening.
We explain.
She’s furious too.
Asking us did anyone tell us where is the wedding taking place.
Nop.
She doesn’t know either.
Calling a lot of people.
No one knows.
Receives a call.
«OK, it’s in the Red Cross office»
Once again in our minds: »What the hell?»
L: «Yeah, it’s in the Red Cross»
OK. Vukovar is destroyed by the war, blah, blah, doesn’t have much etc etc, but there are definitely nicer places than this one. Any place is nicer.
So we’re rushing there.

Another couple inside.
The Red Cross office is a driving school, too.
The lady that will marry us in front of the state, invites us in:»I thought you won’t come»
We explained the situation, and she said that she thought that could be the case.
My best man said no problems. I’m planning his execution.
In 2 minutes we were married, legally. Both happy out of our minds.
Heading to the church…
