I always wanted to talk about this album, and I’ve been listening to it in last couple of days,I was thinking of a reason for putting it on my blog, and I came up with one; it’s released exactly 30 years ago, in June 1978.
It’s one of Dylan’s most understimated albums, and I know that a lot of fans, and especially non-fans, are not introduced to it, unfortunately…
I bought it in an old record shop in Novi Sad, a long time ago, and I loved it right away…
You can sense the battles that he was going through in those days; becoming a Christian, divorce, etc.
Anyway, here it is, you can listen to the entire album, and I hope you like it.
A ako ne -Republika Vojvodina
Evo me samo da izrazim svoj stav u vezi svih izbora u Srbiji, u prošlosti i budućnosti
If not, the magic word is-Republic of Vojvodina
I’m just to state my opinion about all the elections in Serbia, past or future…

“Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm’d;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature’s changing course untrimm’d;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall Death brag thou wander’st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee”.
I cannot write anything better than this,so I’m stealing this sonnet and dedicating it to my
One and only, my miss Mimica, the girl that brought joy to my life,
and the One I miss right now…and who has a birthday today…
My bride to be that drives me insane, the one that’s makin’ me happy and sad,
the one who’s showing me what life is about…
Wish you were here right now, come back soon
And let’s change that last name of yours real soon, my little one…;o)
P.S.Have fun in Zagreb, but not too much fun, because I’ll know, you know I will! :0)
Sretan ti roðendan, mala moja…
Here are some yesterdays’ pictures from a picnic
